As the VP of Treasury, you will:
- Oversees daily management of cash, debt and tax equity covenant compliance
- Oversees short term (13 week) cash flow forecasting
- Acts in a lead role in capital structure, debt management and bond issuance to ensure the most efficient use of the company’s capacity and borrowed monies
- Analyzes and recommends potential alternative financing structures and explains/shows their impact on all financial metrics
- Supports M&A, development and construction activity related to treasury functions, including finance modeling, due diligence and treasury integration
- Maintains and cultivates banking relationships and rating agency relationships
- Recommends items for strategic planning
- Oversees issuing letters of credit, performance bonds and guarantees
- Oversees interest rate risk management
- Manages investment of excess funds
- Supports investor relations
- Ensures proper controls are in place for regulatory requirements, such as FBAR, SOX, FAFCA and Dodd- Frank
- Responsible for Treasury reporting for the board and external financial institutions
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Baccalaureate degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline required, MBA a plus
- Minimum 10 years of financial expertise in the area/s of cash management, project financings, corporate financings and tax equity financings with a focus in the renewable power industry
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing
- History of consistently delivering results in a timely manner
- Strong business acumen and service orientation
- Experience in working for a publicly traded organization
- Experience with supervising staff
- Must have demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in team-based environment
- Responsive; able to integrate and balance priorities, work activities and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders
- Active learner – able to enhance personal, professional and business growth through new knowledge and experiences; pushes the organization to learn from other industries’ standards and practices
