High Voltage Supervisor

Position Summary:
The High Voltage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage electrical systems across MN8 Energy’s renewable energy projects. This role ensures that all high-voltage systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently while adhering to industry standards and regulations. The Supervisor will lead a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to maintain optimal performance.
As the High Voltage Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise the maintenance and operation of high-voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, and substations.
- Ensure the timely response to system outages and coordinate corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor a team of high-voltage technicians, providing guidance on technical procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is updated on industry best practices.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, including OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.
- Perform risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate hazards.
- Oversee testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for high-voltage equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and integrate new technologies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on system performance and team productivity
- Travel 60%
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and equipment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with energy storage and renewable energy systems is a plus.
