Internship Overview:
MN8 Energy is seeking an energetic and talented intern to join our Engineering team. As an Electrical Engineer intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the energy industry and contribute to developing innovative and sustainable solutions. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are enthusiastic about renewable energy and interested in applying their knowledge of electrical engineering.

As the Electrical Engineer Intern, you will:

Data Collection & Framework Setup

• Analyze OEM spec sheets and fleet asset data to determine electrical system attributes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish consistency standards for data collection and system integration.

Initial Data Entry & Standardization

• Verify the technical accuracy of materials data and identify critical electrical components.
• Populate the technical database with accurate electrical specifications and ensure alignment with procurement data.

Refinement & Categorization

• Expand technical data population, ensuring electrical specifications are fully documented and precise.
• Assist in categorizing electrical components and attributes for streamlined workflows.

Optimization & System Integration

• Support quality control audits to align technical specifications with supply chain processes.
• Refine filtering options to enhance system functionality for technical components.

Deployment & Knowledge Transfer

• Assist in system integration efforts, collaborating with the IT Deployment Team to implement electrical system data effectively.
• Document technical specifications and contribute to user training, focusing on database utilization and procurement tools.
• Collect and provide feedback to refine processes post-implementation.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering undergraduate or graduate program.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, circuits, and renewable energy technologies.
• Proficiency with engineering tools and software such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, or similar programs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
