Position Overview:
We are seeking an Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our dynamic Distributed Energy Solutions (DES) platform, focused on customer outreach, deal origination, and early-stage deal structuring within the mobility and transportation sectors. This role blends elements of sales, strategy, finance, and technical collaboration, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the fast-evolving field of electrification and decarbonization. This role will have high visibility across the organization with an opportunity to make significant impact on MN8’s growth trajectory while pioneering solutions in transportation decarbonization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted customer outreach and lead generation within the mobility and transportation sectors.
- Attend industry conferences, representing the company and developing valuable industry relationships.
- Present tailored decarbonization and electrification solutions directly to prospective enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with Technical Operations, Strategy, and Investment teams to structure compelling, financially viable customer proposals.
- Assist in developing customer-facing presentations and proposals, including responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Leverage financial modeling tools to evaluate and structure potential deals.
- Prepare presentations for Management Committee reviews, clearly communicating commercial viability, execution plans, and risk assessments.
- Support marketing and communications efforts by coordinating outreach campaigns and utilizing sales analytics tools such as CRM systems to track and report deal progress.
- Continuously deepen understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and company value proposition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related analytical discipline.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in project finance, business development or strategy roles. Bonus points for experience in renewable energy deal structuring.
- Industry experience in mobility, transportation/logistics, electrification, renewable energy, or other related decarbonization fields preferred.

- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency or aptitude in financial modeling and data-driven decision making.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating complex solutions clearly and convincingly.
- Adaptable, resilient, and resourceful, thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where learning and problem-solving happen in real-time.
- Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work cross-functionally, yet comfortable seeking help when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and produce high-quality, client-ready materials.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and proficiency in deal analytics and reporting tools is a plus.

- $90,000 – $110,000 annual salary
In New York, the annual salary for this position at the time of this posting ranges from $90,000 to $110,000. Within that range, individual compensation varies based on job-related factors including but not limited to experience and training, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
