Position overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity GRC Analyst with over 2 years of experience in the field to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of NIST standards and proven experience in managing SOX and cybersecurity audits. Knowledge of NERC standards is good to have. This role involves working closely with business users, managing third-party relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Excellent communication skills are essential.
As the Cybersecurity GRC Analyst, you will:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with NIST and NERC guidelines.
- Conduct and manage SOX and cybersecurity audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide cybersecurity guidance and solutions.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and recommend improvements as needed.
- Maintain visibility and keep updated all cybersecurity and compliance policies.
- Manage cybersecurity requests and incidents.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory changes.
- Provide training and awareness programs to enhance cybersecurity knowledge across the organization.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on governance, risk and compliance (GRC).
- In-depth knowledge of NIST standards and frameworks.
- Proven experience in managing SOX and cybersecurity audits.
- Knowledge of NERC standards is good to have.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing third-party vendor relationships and conducting risk assessments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft cybersecurity tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and technologies.
