Sr Project Development Director-East

Position overview:

We’re seeking a Sr. Director of Development to oversee setting the strategy for the East region and then implementing that strategy while managing a team of developers and their projects. Setting the strategy will involve coordinating with other verticals including Revenue/Commodities and the Investment/Strategy teams.

 

As the Sr. Director of Development East, you will:

  •  Set strategy for where/why to greenfield projects
  •  Create an annual budget for the region and manage to it through the year
  •  Set project milestone achievements for the year and manage to those objectives
  •  Work to ensure prioritization of the work internally and with other verticals

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • The Candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry
  •  The candidate will have experience setting strategy
  •  The candidate will have deep experience in Eastern markets primarily NYISO, PJM, MISO, NEPOOL and SERC
  • The candidate will have experience managing teams and/or direct reports
