Position Overview:

The Sr. Procurement Manager will lead the EPC procurement strategy for MN8 Energy, ensuring the efficient sourcing and acquisition of materials, services, and equipment necessary for the development and operation of renewable energy projects. This role will be critical in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing cost-effective procurement processes that align with the company’s goals of sustainability and operational efficiency.

As the Sr Procurement Manager, you will:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships to ensure competitive pricing, high-quality materials, and on-time delivery.
• Negotiate and oversee supplier agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with MN8 Energy’s terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing, volume discounts, and contract negotiations.
• Implement best practices in procurement to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and improve cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety.
• Collaborate with internal teams including project development, engineering, legal, and finance to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and financial objectives.
• Support project managers in resolving procurement-related challenges and ensuring the availability of required materials and services.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with MN8 Energy’s sustainability goals, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
• Drive initiatives to incorporate sustainable procurement practices and promote the use of eco-friendly products and services.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred.
• 7+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on EPC negotiation of renewables projects (solar, BESS or wind) or other large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in managing complex procurement contracts and supplier relationships.
• Strong background in cost analysis, sourcing, and procurement negotiations.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong understanding of supply chain risk management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with procurement software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
