MN8 Energy begins building community partnerships with flood recovery donation to Mingo County

MN8 Energy is proud to provide financial assistance to support flood recovery efforts in Mingo County, W.Va. The donation will be used for efforts being led by Williamson Memorial.
“It’s our honor to provide support to the county’s recovery process,” said Erik Duncan, Sr. Manager Project Development, MN8 Energy. “We are passionate about creating a positive, lasting impact together with the communities where we operate.
“Helping to meet critical needs during times of crisis is part of that commitment. We are proud to call the Mountain State our future home and look forward to playing an ongoing role in the years ahead.”
During the initial stages of recovery, the hospital provided assistance to those in need throughout the area. This included guidance to help residents find electricity for their oxygen concentrators when portable oxygen supplies were nearing depletion. For those in this situation, electricity is a necessity.
The hospital’s chief executive officer said the $5,000 donation will aid in recovery and will be used to meet socioeconomic needs of those impacted by the flood.
“It was a pleasure to work with the MN8 team during the recent flooding in Mingo County. As MN8 grows its presence in southern West Virginia, they have become partners in helping others. We appreciate their kind donation to the flood relief fund,” said hospital CEO and President Tim Hatfield.
