Position overview:

The Onboarding Sr. Analyst for Asset Management will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition and integration of new renewable energy assets into MN8 Energy’s operational portfolio. This role will require a strong understanding of asset management processes, exceptional project coordination skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness.

 

As the Onboarding Sr. Analyst, you will:

  • Coordinate the integration of new solar, storage, or other renewable energy projects into MN8 Energy’s asset management systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with project development, engineering, and finance teams to gather and validate asset data, documents, and performance metrics; serving as the primary point of contact for onboarding activities, liaising with internal teams and external partners.
  • Create and maintain detailed onboarding checklists to track the assets’ handoff process and ensure all required steps are completed to facilitate the effective transfer of information, responsibilities and deliverables between different teams and functions throughout the entire lifecycle of renewable projects.
  • Develop and refine onboarding processes through data analytics practices to enhance efficiency and scalability by documenting procedures, key performance indicators, and creating user guides.
  • Input and manage critical asset data in MN8 Energy’s asset management platforms, ensuring data accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on onboarding timelines and deliverables to key stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the onboarding process, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure all assets comply with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Execute ongoing reporting obligations to maintain compliance for various U.S federal, state, and local agencies such as EIA, FERC, NERC, CEC, etc.

 

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, renewable energy, engineering, computer science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience in asset management, renewable energy, or project coordination.
  • Experience with onboarding processes in the energy sector is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in asset management tools and software; familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and industry standards preferred.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel occasionally to support onboarding activities as needed.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
