EV Project Manager

As the EV Project Manager, you will: 

  • Collaborate with Site Acquisition, Engineering, Development and Operations in the successful development and implementation of EV projects.
  •  Manage the process for delivery of projects and programs for various clients across the USA involving a variety of scopes: engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning support, and software deployment coordination.
  •  Be responsible for proper team engagement at the project level including commercial contract understanding and translating to deliverables across the organization including: Site Development; Procurement; Project Coordination; Finance; Legal; Software Delivery; and Portfolio Management.
  • Be responsible for implementing project management best practices and control systems at the project level including project process control, management of change, contract management (not just construction), stakeholder management, risk management, cost & schedule management, quality management, document management, project reporting and progress management.
  • Be accountable for process gap remediation, schedule and quality performance on projects and programs during delivery.
  • Track and report project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  •  Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project/process
  •  Identify project schedule changes and assess effect to program and escalations
  •  Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  •  Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  •  Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  •  Define project scope, goals and deliverables to meet the business goals
  •  Administrate the different contracts. Fulfill the contract provisions
  •  Track and report project milestones and deliverables
  •  Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  •  Effectively communicate project expectations to contractors in a timely and clear fashion
  •  Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  •  Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project
  •  Recommend subsequent budget and schedule changes where necessary
  •  Requesting and reviewing contractor’s progress reports, testing and witness records
  •  Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  •  Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  •  Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  •  Write procedures and monitor compliance with them

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  •  5+ years’ experience of project management responsibilities
  •  5+ years in field construction management experience a plus
  •  5+ years proven experience running multiple EV development projects concurrently and successfully
  •  Willingness to travel as needed
