Payroll Analyst

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Department: Accounting

Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Processing bi-weekly payrolls
  • Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data
  • Prepares vacation and sick balance reports and other payroll reports for management
  • Prepares payroll wire and ACH requests
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation and payroll journal
  • Prepare various payroll audit and other similar reports for external parties
  • Reconciles payroll service provider invoices
  • Answers questions regarding payroll
  • Maintains payroll calendar and manages deadlines
  • Liaisons with payroll service providers

Benefit Plan Administration:

  • Prepares and reconciles monthly health insurance, LTD, LTC, and supplemental LTD invoices
  • Maintains FSA and Transit Benefit programs
  • Assists with Compensation and 401k Plan administration
  • Assists employees with benefit administration online access and functionality

Payroll and Other Accounting:

  • Prepares all payroll related journal entries
  • Reconciles all payroll related cash activity including direct deposits, payroll taxes, wage garnishments, 401k and Deferred Compensation Plan funding

Maintains vendor files:

  • Assists with all aspects of Accounts Payable processing
  • Assists with month-end close and other accounting activities as required
  • Maintains all payroll records and files

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in Payroll
  • ADP required. Yardi would be a plus
  • Relevant industry experienced highly preferred
