O365 SME (Subject Matter Expert)

This role will be responsible for the administration of the entire suite of Office 365 and Intune across the organization. You will participate in the delivery of optimally performing software, hardware, and services. The O365 SME will need to be eager to learn about and assist with many areas of the IT Department, especially with regards to future Azure deployments. He/She must provide excellent support services in a calm and mentoring manner while assisting the user in understanding the technologies present.


  • Manage the O365&Intune environments, resolve any incident and fulfil service requests in a timely manner, working as a level 2 support level for HelpDesk. 
  • Ensure the O365 and Intune environment is monitored, maintained, and configured to meet the needs and requirements from the business 
  • Defines and provides excellent workplace services to the user according to their different profiles (position, location, etc.). 
  • Manage all the existing Azure infrastructure including, but not limited to, VM, Resource Groups, VNETs, NSG & FW rules, monitoring & backups  
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English is a must 


  • 5+ years of experience in managing O365 & Intune environments in an IT service management environment/ITIL framework. 
  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, managing, and maintaining Windows Server class systems 
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing scripting languages (PowerShell/VB) 
  • BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field 
  • Recognised certification in IT technologies, and in particular in O365, Intune and Azure including certifications like Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert,  
  • Preferably with an IT service management qualification, e.g. ITIL. 
  • 3+ years of experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on Azure 
  • Must have experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Management 
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Governance principles and best practices 
  • Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft and related Cloud technology solutions utilizing Office 365, Intune, and Azure 
  • Experience with Intune design, implementation, and support for mobile and workspaces 
  • Experience with Application packaging & deployment and Patch management using Intune 
  • Strong knowledge in managing Azure AD infrastructure and InTune policies 
  • Configuration, administration, and monitoring of Exchange Online & Microsoft 365 environments 
  • Experience with MS Teams administration, including Teams Phone System and Rooms. 
  • Implement system security requirements for the workplace based on the defined Information Security standards. 
  • Update, Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols. 
  • Previous experience in PowerShell is required. 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • Experience working in multicultural teams from different countries. 
  • Experience with SharePoint implementation and support  
  • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols. 
  • Previous experience in Azure administration will be highly valuable. 
  • Experience in supporting Linux servers will be valuable. 
  • Good interpersonal skills – ability to deal with people at all levels within the organisation 
  • Communication skills in Spanish & English – both verbal and written 
  • Advanced knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems like Windows 10 & 11. 
  • Applications Support including MS SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams. 
  • Driving & Monitoring Queue for ticket closure. Incident Management and Request fulfilment. 
  • Support, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of the laptops including patch updates using Intune 
  • Be able to explain issues and resolutions to customers who possess varying levels of technical skills. 
  • Build strong relationships with customers, peers, stakeholders and vendors. 
  • Act as the backup of the workplace manager when needed.
